Dicksonia fibrosa
A head of new fronds developing on a Woolly Tree Fern or Wheki Ponga (Dicksonia fibrosa), a New Zealand tree fern that reaches as much as 6m tall. The funnel-shaped array of young fronds helps channel rainwater down the the fibrous trunk to the fern's roots.
