Hemerocallis 'Prairie Blue Eyes', a daylily hybrid introduced by Marsh in 1970. It has proved to be a popular parent plant for later hybrids. Easily cultivated, this Asian perennial's blooms last just one day. However, the flowers open in succession over several weeks.
