Magnolia 'Genie'
Magnolia 'Genie', an exceptionally dark-flowered, hybrid introduced in 2006 by VH Plants of New Zealand. Its parentage includes 'Sweet Simplicity' and Magnolia liliiflora 'Nigra', which has resulted in a soulangiana shaped flower with the dark colouring of 'Nigra'.
